Table for 5: It's Perfect!

Today we found the perfect house! Perfect size, perfect street, perfect neighborhood. Look, doesn't it even go so nicely in this blog! The colors are perfect. The only thing not so perfect is the price of course! I do drive by once in a while and just imagine having all that space. Who would have thought I would one day dream about storage space? What I wouldn't do for a basement these days....it's fun to dream (and a heck of a lot cheaper in this case!)

I've decided I use the word "perfect" too loosely. That's a strong word. Is it really perfect, I doubt it? But I'm pretty certain I would be willing to live with these imperfections....maybe one day!

Why a Blog....?

There are a few reasons why I decided to start a blog and I would like to share them with you...

To begin with, I can't keep up with this twittering, facebooking, texting world, and this I can do at my own pace. With 3 kids that's the only way! I would also hope that this will help keep us connected to the ones we love who are far away.

I don't how good I am at it, but I love to write. After a busy day, I find it calming and I look forward to being able to say what I am thinking or share with others some of the things that go on in this crazy household. I also love to take pictures and feel this is a great way to share some of those with all of you.

Finally, I often hear my kids say something funny or cute that I think I will never forget and considering that I couldn't tell you what my kids weighed at birth or what their first word was, I thought it might not be a bad idea to actually start writing things down. Of course, I wish I had started this earlier but Chris gave me some good advice..."It's never too late to start something...."
