Table for 5: Are there any pictures of me mom?

I fear that Carsten may be asking me this exact question 2o years from now!! I'm pretty certain that if Grace even blinked I had a picture of it since I didn't want to miss a thing. I feel like I'm such a terrible mom for not consciously taking more pictures of Carsten and everything he does. Maybe that's why I jumped at the chance to have some professional photos taken this month. I hope Carsten can forgive me one day but the truth is these pictures are far better than anything I could take, so I hope he likes them one day.

Why a Blog....?

There are a few reasons why I decided to start a blog and I would like to share them with you...

To begin with, I can't keep up with this twittering, facebooking, texting world, and this I can do at my own pace. With 3 kids that's the only way! I would also hope that this will help keep us connected to the ones we love who are far away.

I don't how good I am at it, but I love to write. After a busy day, I find it calming and I look forward to being able to say what I am thinking or share with others some of the things that go on in this crazy household. I also love to take pictures and feel this is a great way to share some of those with all of you.

Finally, I often hear my kids say something funny or cute that I think I will never forget and considering that I couldn't tell you what my kids weighed at birth or what their first word was, I thought it might not be a bad idea to actually start writing things down. Of course, I wish I had started this earlier but Chris gave me some good advice..."It's never too late to start something...."
