Table for 5: Disney in January

After recovering from 2 weeks of us all being sick, we decided to celebrate and take a quick trip to Disney with Uncle Greg and Grammy and Grandpa. With the weather we've been having, even 55 degrees seemed heavenly! It was a whirlwind weekend but we fit in as much as possible. We survived Carsten's first trip on an airplane...barely and the kids throughly enjoyed a few surprise days with Mickey.

Why a Blog....?

There are a few reasons why I decided to start a blog and I would like to share them with you...

To begin with, I can't keep up with this twittering, facebooking, texting world, and this I can do at my own pace. With 3 kids that's the only way! I would also hope that this will help keep us connected to the ones we love who are far away.

I don't how good I am at it, but I love to write. After a busy day, I find it calming and I look forward to being able to say what I am thinking or share with others some of the things that go on in this crazy household. I also love to take pictures and feel this is a great way to share some of those with all of you.

Finally, I often hear my kids say something funny or cute that I think I will never forget and considering that I couldn't tell you what my kids weighed at birth or what their first word was, I thought it might not be a bad idea to actually start writing things down. Of course, I wish I had started this earlier but Chris gave me some good advice..."It's never too late to start something...."
