It's Perfect!

Today we found the perfect house! Perfect size, perfect street, perfect neighborhood. Look, doesn't it even go so nicely in this blog! The colors are perfect. The only thing not so perfect is the price of course! I do drive by once in a while and just imagine having all that space. Who would have thought I would one day dream about storage space? What I wouldn't do for a basement these days....it's fun to dream (and a heck of a lot cheaper in this case!)

I've decided I use the word "perfect" too loosely. That's a strong word. Is it really perfect, I doubt it? But I'm pretty certain I would be willing to live with these imperfections....maybe one day!

It was a big day for Jack today! He has been waiting for weeks for his special Dad day at his school and it finally came! Chris said he was very excited to say the least and Jack showed him all the cars he plays with there. Of course, now Grace is upset that she doesn't have a Dad day at her school. You just can't make everyone happy sometimes...

Road Trip!

We took our first trip to Rhode Island this weekend with 3 kids. The drive was perfect. Although I'm pretty sure that will be one of our last smooth 4 hour drives we'll have for a while since Carsten won't be sleeping most of the day anymore. We had a great time showing off the new addition to the Lepre family and Carsten enjoyed meeting all his new relatives in Rhode Island. I have to say our highlight was having a "night shift" also known as my mother-in-law who took Carsten for 2 full nights! It's what every new mom could ask for (more than 3 hours of consecutive sleep in one night!) It was heavenly....Thanks again, Mom.
