We made it through a whole Christmas season without the stomach virus (major accomplishment for us!!) We all stayed healthy, did a lot of traveling and saw lots of family and friends even squeezed in a trip to Indiana (pictures to follow).

As most of you know we have been searching for a house for years! We have been to so many open houses that the kids would look forward to Sunday so they could go to other people's houses and check out their toys. It became a family tradition. I will never forget the day we found 'the one". Our realtor took us to 2 houses that day. The first was this amazing brand new 5 bedroom colonial with everything I could imagine and more. Of course it wasn't exactly in the budget but the fact that the property was the size of a postage stamp made it not even an option. As we left the 1st house our realtor (who was like family at that point) said and I quote "now we will go from the sublime to the ridiculous". Who knew we would end up purchasing the "ridiculous"!
It has been a lot of work but very exciting to making our house a home. There is still a lot of work ahead but we are taking it one year at a time. Here are some of the things we've done....
