"They can't all be happy" March 2012

A series

August 26, 2010

So, my mom called me up the other day and said she needed recent pictures of all 3 kids. She asked if I had a "series" of any. I honestly thought to myself "I don't think I have a "series" of anything these days, let alone a nice series of pictures!!! I used that as motivation and grabbed my camera while we were outside this afternoon. I made sure to stick with it and not do my usual "click and run" onto something else (or someone else) that needs my attention. This is the closest I am going to get to a series! It's in no way professional but I count 3 kids and they weren't screaming at each other (at least not right then)... Success!!!

Home Improvement

August 26, 2010

The last few weeks of August have been major project time here around the house. Thanks to my father-in-law we started things off with replacing our deck. Next we replaced our hardwoods upstairs and gave our laundry room a mini-makeover. It's been a hectic few weeks with people in and out but it was well worth it. Here are some pictures of our deck project.

The Sleepover Event of the Summer

August 21, 2010

It has been in the works since early June and has even been postponed once due to sickness but the long awaited sleepover with Emma (Grace's best friend) and neighbor has arrived. There was so much excitement in the air, but not one firefly (as we looked long and hard for one to catch). It was a late night filled with giggles, early morning wake-up with pancakes and I was even lucky enough to get to sleep in their room on the nice hard floor. Needless to say, we will be waiting until next summer to do the next one....so we can get some rest in between

Human Bowling

August 11, 2010

Leave it to Uncle Greg to find another use for Jack's new beanbag. Grace & Jack loved being real live bowling pins..

Even Greg got in on the fun...he even dressed the part, don't you think?
