Chris had some time off this week so we took a few days and headed to Rhode Island for a visit. We introduced Carsten to the carousel and made a trip to the Children's Museum. Here are a few pictures...

Sleepover!

Grace and Jack had a special treat this weekend. They got to go to Uncle Greg's for a sleepover. It was a first and hopefully not a last, although Greg may need a little break...so maybe next summer, Greg? It was casually mentioned back in the spring and they never stopped asking. A date was set and it was a very big event! We headed to Montclair for dinner and ice cream (see pictures) and then were kindly asked to go home several times so the sleepover could officially start!! Thanks Uncle Greg for a very fun night!!!!

Lately we've found that we just need to look out our back window instead of making a trip to the zoo. While there was nothing too large, we've seen our share of deer, rabbits, and even coyotes while just sitting on the couch! A few pictures of our view.....

Birthday #1

The break from birthdays is officially over . Someone is turning 5 in this house and we have had the countdown going since June. We kept it simple...kids party/adult party. Jack is beyond excited and has already started asking for gifts for his next birthday!
