What happens in Vegas....

Well you know the rest...but I would say this didn't exactly apply to us! We had a very low key girls only "Villanova roomate reunion" weekend in Vegas filled with some much needed rest & relaxation and good girl talk. The most excitement we had was spending a few hours in the ER on Saturday morning finding out (the hard way) that Jackie was allergic to shellfish!! I took the weekend off (from life in general) so that meant not even thinking about taking pictures too much. I got a few shots here and there, in between the naps at the pool and long, relaxing meals. Thanks girls for the perfect weekend. Now onto planning next years getaway...

The season begins...

It's that time of year again, time to squeeze in a sport in an already crazy schedule! Time to eat dinner as fast as possible twice a week, so we can rush to the field in time for practice! Time for picking flowers in the infield and asking "Where is left field"? Time to finally put the new pink mitt, pink bat and pink balls to good use!

It's softball time!!

As much as I like to complain about it, and Grace is still trying to learn the basics, she really likes it and I know it's good for both of us! While I still secretly hope for rain every once in a while, I love watching her learn, catch those ground balls, and round those bases.

Jack kept everything a big secret. He wouldn't even tell me what songs he was singing, so I could help him practice. All I was told was that he needed a ladle??? He clearly didn't need my help as you can see below. When we arrived we found his teacher and he told us to go sit down. He got right up there and sang his songs.

Grace, Jack and Chris visited the NY Auto Show for the 2nd year in a row. I decided to send Grace with her own digital camera and told her she was in charge of taking pictures. I should've known better.....

A Sunny Easter!

Luckily the Easter Bunny got our e-mail that we were heading up to Rhode Island for the weekend. He did not disappoint. We had a beautiful sunny weekend, spending as much time outside as possible!! We even brought up a surprise "bounce house" that we set up for the kids. They managed to spend most of the weekend in there. I don't know if it was because of the weather, or just the cute subjects, but I managed to take way too many pictures again. I thought it might be easier to view in this video below...
